A place for the thoughts that arrive unfinished, and the ones that stay.

Sometimes, once we as humans hear something about a person, or even a single piece of gossip, we immediately consider it as absolute truth. This is dangerous... A single sheep can lead an entire flock off a cliff simply because the others follow blindly. We actually surrender our critical thinking, and we join the "stampede" of public opinion which can ruin reputations, spread misinformation, and lead us into dangerous biases.

People remember how you made them feel, not what you said... The kindness you forgot by evening may be the one someone carries for years.

Other people's ambitions aren't necessarily yours... Don't fall into the trap of chasing what others love or want to become and simply tell yourself that you want that too. Take the time to understand yourself and what you truly desire... Life sometimes or maybe most of the times force you to learn things you don't enjoy, and that's okay. In fact, it's even better to make a habit of enjoying the unenjoyable, there are many ways to do that. But remember that every hour spent of copying and studying what others love is an hour you could have spent discovering what you love.

Choose your friends wisely... Real friends make you dream big. "Some people" drain your ambition forever.

We tend to think that happiness comes after the milestones: the degree, the startup, the job at a top company. So we chase them one after another and telling ourselves it will come once we get there. Chase them anyway... They’re worth it, and so is the road to them. Just don’t treat that road as a waiting room. Someday your future self might look back at who you are right now and wish it could be that happy again. Or you’ll see an old man laughing at something small and wish your life felt that light. Keep your goals ahead of you but don’t push happiness there with them. It’s usually in the simple things already here.
